HOW TO SLIM DOWN YOUR LEGS AND HOW I DID IT?

Many years ago when I first started working out, I joined a gym and there I was given a training plan. But no one ever asked me what I was aiming for, what kind of look I wanted.

At the time, I guess I couldn't describe these things in detail either, and it never occurred to me that I would go in the opposite direction of my goal, so I started to follow the training plan. After all, it was written by a fitness trainer. Although I did it willingly and regularly, after a while I realized that I couldn't fit into a pair of jeans that I wore when I started working out.

So why were my legs getting so thick? Wasn't I supposed to get thinner/lose weight by doing sports? Unfortunately, this didn't happen, I was feeling bigger and bigger day by day. When this problem started to bother me, I went to the sports coach/manager of the gym and told him my problem. He asked to see the plan written for me. He looked at it and then said: "Who wrote these exercises for you? If you do them like this, of course you will get thicker. A plan written for men should not be the same as a plan written for women - a plan written for those who want to get bigger should not be the same as a plan written for those who want to tighten up."

Bingo! That was the first spark in my mind, but I still didn't understand the reasons in depth. Then he corrected some things in my program and gave me the plan again. After about 3-4 weeks, my measurements started to come back and the thickening decreased. I remember saying "thank God" in my heart because I was so scared that it would stay like that and I wouldn't be able to fix it. 

But I can say that these experiences planted the first seed of my awareness on this issue. Afterwards, you wouldn't believe me if I told you how much I thought and researched about this issue from those years until now, because I couldn't help thinking, "There must be a solution to this problem". 

Later, as I received professional trainings such as Sports Nutrition and Staff Fitness Trainer, I started to have a better command of the physiological + scientific and mathematical part of this subject. And I started to better fit the solutions that came to my mind somewhere in my mind. 

I can say that I have tried everything on myself that I can think of and that I believe will help me with this. Just walking, not exercising intensely, different styles of nutrition and exercise, different fat burning plans that I wrote for myself, regular exercise but a different type of training style...

Having worked with so many people for so many years, helping so many people with my programs and helping them get thinner, and having seen more body compositions/body types than I can remember, I already knew that not every body responds the same way. 

So why does what works for one person not work for another?

BECAUSE WE ALL HAVE DIFFERENT GENETIC STRUCTURES AND DIFFERENT BODY TYPES.

To summarize more succinctly: "We each have a different way of storing fat in the body."

For example, even if a person gains 10 kilos, their legs do not get thicker and they get fat around the belly and upper body, while another person may gain 1-2 kilos, their legs may get thicker but they never have a belly problem in their life. This is all about our innate genetic characteristics and body type. Or another example: A person who does the same exercises does not thicken or has minimal thickening, while another person may suddenly thicken and increase in volume intensely. 

Therefore, the first thing to determine before setting off towards the goal is to determine which body type you have. Afterwards, it is to proceed "according to the goal you want to achieve" by taking your body type into consideration. Otherwise, it is possible to go towards an appearance you do not want. In this case, you will lose both time and energy - which is not something any of us want.

Over the years, I have achieved a significant thinning of my legs with the most effective and correct methods I have obtained as a result of countless researches, ponderings and experiments on myself. And moreover - without thickening my legs (with the right exercises), I made them much firmer, taut and shaped.
